Randy Renn is a life long boating and engine enthusiast with four decades of work experience dedicated to the marine industry in the fields of survey and investigation, training, development and repair. He is a member of the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors®, is an AMS® with the earned designations of "Engines" and "Yachts & Small Craft". He is a full member of the International Institute of Marine Surveyors, and is associated with ABYC., IAMI, SNAME, and ASNE. He currently holds the office of Regional Director for the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors®. He has also been a USCG licensed Captain, and an active sailor and sport fisherman.

Randy has actively worked as a Marine Surveyor since 1989, first working with a national surveyors group and then forming his own company. He has experience as an expert witness, and stays on the cutting edge of technology for engine diagnostics.
